The ZEUS generators must be connected directly to the battery poles, both in the case of service batteries and motor batteries. No switches or battery management systems should be connected between ZEUS and the batteries. If you need to charge several batteries, connect them directly in parallel.
I have an e-bike and I want to bring it with me on motorhome in free parking. Does ZEUS support this?
ZEUS150 supports the charging of an e-bike and recharging of the service battery.
However, it is necessary to correctly size the inverter and battery pack according to the charger used.
For a sizing of the components to be used, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
ZEUS150 and ZEUS200 detect the energy produced by the photovoltaic panel and show it on the display.
When the photovoltaic panel is producing energy, ZEUS150 or ZEUS200 remain off.
When the photovoltaic panel is not producing energy and the battery is discharged, ZEUS150 or ZEUS200 automatically switch on. ZEUS150 or ZEUS200 manage photovoltaic panels up to a maximum of 300W, without the need to purchase extra equipment.
When ZEUS is running, the photovoltaic panel charge is not used. ZEUS80 does not manage the photovoltaic panel.
The choice between ZEUS80 and ZEUS150 depends primarily on the energy consumption of the vehicle and available space. The table below indicates the energy consumption that the two generators are able to support:
*With the use of a time-limited inverter and supported by a suitable battery pack.
Can ZEUS200 handle wind generators and/or photovoltaic panels that are already mounted on my boat or do I need additional components?
Absolutely: ZEUS200 can manage other energy sources, such as photovoltaic panels and wind generators, up to a maximum of 300W, in complete autonomy without the need to purchase extra equipment.
Simply connect the photovoltaic panel and/or the wind generator directly to the dedicated slots and the advanced ZEUS control unit does the rest.
ZEUS200 is suitable for classic motorboats, fishing boats or cabin dinghies as well as for sailing boats, with maximum lengths of 16-18 metres.
However, it can also be mounted on boats of greater length depending on the requirements. We will be happy to discuss this with you.
